Archmed Oxygen Plant Solution Enter North of Nigeria

Africa's most populous country and the first economy, Nigeria, has always been China's main economic partner in Africa.

In October 2018, Archmed received inquiry from a Nigerian customer who has been cooperating with us for many years, the inquiry is about the plan of the YoBE state government in northern Nigeria to purchase and install Oxygen Plant.

Oxygen plant is different from common medical equipment, it is more professional and industrial, Archmed organized a research on the domestic Oxygen Plant supply market, and finally selected a Zhejiang factory with R&D technology capabilities as the supplier, because this product will involve many overseas after-sales issues in the later stage and requires strong technical capabilities as support.

The customer’s requirements were very general and not clear. After a lot of discussion and modify, we provided a set of accurate 50Nm3/hr PSA Oxygen Plant plan, and also provided the after-sales maintenance plan for the next 3 years. The customer was very satisfied. Our plan was finally passed and defeated our Turkish competitor. At that time, the Turkish oxygen plant supplier take the largest market share in the Nigeria oxygen market.

 

In February 2019, the customer officially signed a contract with the Yobe state government, and the order was placed in the factory, and the factory stepped up production to meet the customer's time requirements. In March 2019, the whole set of equipment including all accessories was successfully loaded and shipped to Nigeria, and arrived at LAGOS port 50 days later. It was June that the goods arrived at YOBE by railway from LAGOS to KANO, and then from KANO by car to Yobe State.

According to the agreement with the customer, our company sent engineers and technicians to Nigeria for installation and use training. In the local lack of water and electricity, there were many difficulties in our installation process. The installation was finally completed and the machine was able to operate smoothly. This machine has played an important role in the treatment of local patients in the COVID19 infectious disease in 2020.
