Archmed Engineering team twice trip to Kenya to Support Kenya National-wide 31sites CT Room Protection Material Engineering.

In March 2018, Archmed received an invitation from Neusoft, a well-known China CT manufacturer, we were invited to provide lead protection solutions for 31 CT  rooms across Kenya.

All our teamates realize the importance of this project---This is also a national-level project concerning the safe operation of China's high-end medical equipment abroad.

 

We selected a lead protection supplier with 30 years of production experience, worked closely with neusoft to understand the local protection requirements of Kenya, and gave customers professional solutions, which were accepted by customers and successfully signed orders.

 

At the request of the customer, they had to install the first site in Khata city for inspection and acceptance by the Ministry of Health, and request us to prepare one set emergency delivery immediately, and send engineering construction personnel to install it locally.

Time is tight and the task is heavy. In early July 2018, the general manager Aaron led experienced engineers to Kenya quickly after our first set goods was delivered. After 5 days of construction, the first site was installed to ensure the smooth delivery of the CT machine room. The site also passed and get the acceptance of the Ministry of Health, and the customers are very satisfied.

After the remaining 30sets goods arrived at Kenya, at the request of the customer, the Archmed engineering team fly to Kenya for the second ttrip for a two-week site installation training. Within two weeks, we set off from the capital city of Nairobi, and carried out installation and training in the CT fields of the hospitals in four locations: MOI, KAKAMEGA, KERICHO, Narok, and teach the local engineers to successfully complete the task. All the remaining sites were independently installed and completed by local engineers, and the quality of the completion was very high, which was well received.

Archmed is honred to participate in such a national project. It has established a Chinese image and Chinese standards in the field of overseas radiation protection, which is an important step for us to continue to explore the African market.
